Trip Preparations

The countdown has begun to The Table's first mission trip to Romania.  Fifteen more days remain until our group begins to see the fruit of preparation in our lives and those that God has ordained for us to encounter.

We have the packing list and itinerary, but preparing for a trip is more than figuring out how to take just 2 pairs of shoes. It's actually an unpacking of how to communicate what the gospel means to each one of us and a commitment to face the storms that will come by relying on Jesus, not our own abilities. 

If you're reading this post you are one of our friends and family who has made an investment in our trip.  If you've given financially, thank you!  If you haven't, it's not too late (you know we have to continue our shameless plugs for donations until the jet leaves the tarmac)!  Despite the financial needs, we would love to ask for one more thing.  Please pray with and for us, even now before the trip begins.  We believe in the power of prayer and know no better way for God to work in and through us.  

Here are some things we are praying that we invite you to join us in:

• protection
• wisdom
• team unity
• encouragement for Sabin, Florin, Rolland (pastors in Romania) and the believers we meet
• we become vessels for Christ to use
• sensitivity to the Spirit
• communicating what God has done in our lives and what the gospel is
• those we meet moving forward in their spiritual journey with many accepting Jesus as their personal savior
• joy
• anything else the Holy Spirit leads you to pray
